About Puneet V. Bansal
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Bansal graduated from Poznan University of medical sciences in Poland where I completed my medical degree and went on to SUNY upstate medical University in Syracuse, NY where he completed additional 3 years residency in internal medicine and subsequently completed 3 years in adult cardiovascular medicine. Dr. Bansal's interest in cardiac imaging has led him to enjoy a career involved in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology as well as cardiac CT which has been the latest addition to his armamentarium of imaging modalities that he utilizes whilst diagnosing and managing his patients. He had previously served as cardiac imaging director at his previous 2 jobs. He has moved from his most recent endeavor in Maine and now is looking forward to serving the community in Missoula. Dr. Bansal cherishes time with his wife and children, often hiking and biking together, and finds joy in the lively company of their three dogs; his true passion, however, is fly fishing—especially the peaceful solitude of being on the river with his dog and the soothing sound of flowing water.
