I have been a patient of Providence Heart Clinic, and have been seeing Dr Beckerman for over 20 years now. Dr Beckerman (and his team) literally set the benchmark for providers. He is the most caring, understanding, knowledgeable doctor that I have ever seen. And his staff are right there with him. I have had a few health scares over the years. They have been the best through those times, and the times of routine visits as well. They are accommodating and never make you feel like you are a burden. Providence is so blessed to have him and his staff.

James is a very highly respected cardiologist which makes it difficult to get an appointment with him in a timely manner.

Doctor is dismissive and condescending causing me to be reluctant to ask questions regarding treatment. However, he has kept me alive but I wouldn't recommend him to friends looking for a cardiologist.

My first appointment was with a PA which I was not able to make because od a car wreck closing thee route to the hospital. Y+The follow up was with Dr. Beckerman who I just love. He is a great Doctor.

I love Dr Beckerman.He has the best bed side manner.He is always calm very carful he answers all my questions,If he can give me an answer right away he does ,I have been really sick and been in the hospital a couple times since I git sick which was at Christmas.I was just at the emergency department and got more tests done,I don't think at this time I need any extreme tests,Dr Beckerman said my heart was doing great,That such great news to me,I feel that he and his associates have kept me alive 7 more years then I would have lived.

Lately, because of a heart valve problem, I have been seeing many different people for lots of check-up appointments. Everyone has been great, but it is still not the same as my relationship with my primary care physician who I have been seeing for years. It is hard to rate people that I have just seen for a few minutes with someone I have known for years. I realize that is just what happens with specialists. I have been impressed with the skill and knowledge that all of the specialists seem to have and the attention to detail that they share with each other. I feel well cared for. The only thing that I am lacking is the ease to call and talk to my last person, my cardiologist, for a question. I am about ready to look him up and get the phone number. Not that hard, but with many doctors now, it is just a bit more cumbersome to make connections. This is really my problem with social media - not yours.

Dr. Beckerman was SO great in giving us pertinent info in a way that we could fully understand. He treated us with sincere care, respect and displayed interest in what we had to say. He spoke clearly and slowly enough for my husband to understand. That was very much appreciated.
