Dr Yao has always been friendly, professional and very helpful. She is a very good listener and always addresses any of my concerns. I have complete confidence in her.

Doctor provided thorough examination of conditions and referrals for additional treatment.

She read my history from the chart notes and summarized why I came to see her. It felt mechanical and scripted, as though she was required to show that she knew my health history and what we had decided to do. It was like having a bot read to me. If she had done the same thing without appearing to read from the computer like a bot, it might have had a different impact. I don't think she would recognize me on the street or choose me from a lineup as one of her patients.

It was my first time seeing Dr. Lisa Yao, a referral from my PCP. She was extremely caring, professional, and helpful. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a cardiologist. My only issue was the length of time before I could see her as a new patient (3 months), but that appears to be standard with good doctors now.

This is the first time I've seen Dr. Yao, and I was elated when I left my appointment. I felt like I wasn't just another patient passing through for a routine appt. She spent time talking to me about the complexities of my situation. She went over my medications with me and recommended changing one I've been taking for decades for a more current RX with fewer potential negative side effects. She also noted that I haven't had an important test for my heart issue in 18 years and put in an order for me to have that test. I felt like I was being seen as a unique person and that with her I am going to get the best attention and care possible. I'd like to add that the medical assistant who did the initial work in my visit was excellent as well, although I don't remember her name. She made me feel very comfortable. Thank you to everyone!

In the recent year as a patient with the Providence medical group. I feel my physical health and mental state have Improved. Today I feel healthy and strong.
