Always easy to see. Hardly any waiting. Reviews our history together. Handles my concerns very well. Explains complicated stuff better than any other Physician. Is very reassuring to me that things are going well. A treat to have him overseeing my treatment. Wish they were all that way.

I was surprised when Dr. Burger said that he was surprised I wasn't on statins. He's the only cardiologist I've ever had, so he should know why I'm not on statins. He then prescribed statins for me and when I asked why he said "cholesterol." My cholesterol, LDL, and HDL levels are normal, so I don't understand why he prescribed statins. He did not elaborate. I plan to follow up via MyChart. On one of my first visits with Dr. Burger he also did not elaborate on a short answer to a question I asked. I would prefer a doctor who gives me more information.
