Initial appointment with this new provider. Seemed rushed. Appointment was to be 45 minutes or so and lasted less than 20 minutes. Didn't really listen to concerns I mentioned and seemed to make excuses. Was pulled in from waiting area shortly after check-in and was out of the exam room 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment time slot. Didn't not receive the after visit summary, either. Being this was a Cardiologist appointment with a new provider, I would have thought it would be a more thorough appointment to get to know the patient. Very disappointed. Can say that a message was sent, through MyChart, once he checked my bloodwork results, so that is a plus. Not sure maybe he is just nervous being a new provider or if this is his normal way. Why schedule a 45 minutes or so appointment and be seen less than 20 minutes. Seems a way to make extra money or get more from the patients.
