Dr. Mignone is a very busy provider, wearing lots of different hats. During every visit, including this last visit, this visits never feel rushed. Dr. Mignone spends the time to get to know about my life and family. He understands the impact of my illness on my life. He explains everything thoroughly and in language I can understand. I cannot express enough how much the impact of having Dr. Mignone as my provider, makes the process of living with a serious disease less frightening. Dr. Mignone's staff is professional, kind and helpful. The only issue I have with the heart failure clinic is the centralized call center. You often have long waits to speak with a representative. With the disconnect between the centralized team and the actual clinic makes getting messages to the appropriate person often impossible. They do not have the ability to override a schedule to accommodate what Dr. Mignone informed us in clinic. I use MyChart to communicate and schedule. Dr. Mignone's staff is always responsive.

I feel very grateful and fortunate to have Dr. Mignone as my doctor and completely trust his knowledge, clinical expertise. He is very kind and compassionate.

He has been thorough in treating my anomalous heart condition.

Dr Mignone continues to provide exemplary care on my behalf. He is exquisitely focused, attentive, and is a remarkable repository of information that is relevant while at the same time very interesting. He is at once both a purposive healer and attuned teacher/mentor who clearly is dedicated to working w/me as a co-collaborator of all of the resources that can be explored and assembled.Most notably, Dr. Mignone exudes an infectious enthusiasm that reflects reality based hope and mirrors his self-confidence. And yet manages to do so with humility. Indeed, there is absolutely no hint of ego or sense of hubris about him.Thus, he is a gem to work with: he listens carefully and suggests interventions that honors what we have learned about my 86 year old body's systems over the past 18 months, i.e.,the range of my ability to effectively accommodate certain medications is quite narrow and must be carefully tweaked with gradual modification/incrementalism.I understand that in spite of empirical evidence about my cohort group as a whole and evidence based protocols, I still remain but one patient whose approach will always involve individualized/informed "experimentations" as we discover what truly works best for me.And within this context, I have the utmost confidence in him and the resources of The Swedish Heart and Vascular Institute/Advanced Cardiac Support Program.
