About Razmik Ghukasyan

Dr. Razmik Ghukasyan is a board-certified general surgeon and board-eligible colorectal surgeon. He earned his MD/MBA from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the UCLA Anderson School of Management, then completed his general surgery internship and residency at UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Ghukasyan further honed his expertise through a colorectal surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Dr. Ghukasyan’s areas of expertise encompass the full spectrum of colorectal diseases—including anorectal and colonic malignancies, benign colorectal pathologies such as inflammatory bowel disease and diverticular disease, as well as complex anorectal and pelvic floor disorders. He is skilled in open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery as well as advanced endoscopic techniques. He is committed to a personalized approach for complex colorectal problems, ensuring each treatment plan is tailored to the unique needs and goals of every patient. Dr. Ghukasyan’s philosophy of care centers on partnering with patients and their families through clear communication and shared decision-making.
