Rebeccah B. Baucom, MD

Dr. Rebeccah Baucom is a double board-certified Colon and Rectal Surgeon and General Surgeon. Dr. Baucom is a native Texan. After completion of medical school at UT Southwestern at Dallas, she completed her residency in General Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She completed her fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. After fellowship, she joined the faculty at Texas Tech University Health Sciences center where she developed the first dedicated colorectal surgery practice in the region. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and is an active member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Dr. Baucom’s clinical expertise focuses on colon cancer, rectal cancer, anal cancer, inherited colorectal cancer syndromes, as well as other benign disease of the colon, rectum and anus.
