About Ulrik G. Wallin
Dr. Ulrik Wallin has been recognized by Newsweek (2025) as one of America’s Leading Doctors in Colorectal Surgery and has been named a Seattle Met and Seattle Magazine Top Doctor for multiple consecutive years. He brings more than 20 years of experience caring for patients with conditions of the colon and rectum, including colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and anorectal disorders. His practice includes the full range of treatment options, from minimally invasive and robotic surgery to open procedures, as well as colonoscopy for both screening and diagnosis.
Dr. Wallin understands that these conditions can feel sensitive, confusing, and sometimes overwhelming. He focuses on creating a supportive, respectful environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns. He takes time to listen, clearly explain options, and work together with patients to develop a care plan that meets their individual needs.
He completed his medical training at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and has trained and practiced in both Sweden and the United States. Dr. Wallin also holds a PhD focused on colorectal cancer and a Master’s degree in Clinical Research, supporting his commitment to evidence-based, personalized care.
