Dr. Berger did my ostomy take down. I have never been comfortable with him. He comes across as arrogant in each encounter I've had with him. I feel he wasn't taking my pain seriously and he behaved similarly when I was found to have an incisional hernia after his take down surgery. I had to repeatedly call his office to get him to make an appointment for a CT scan to check for the hernia. During his recent appointment he acted as if he did not have empathy for the pain I still have nearly two years after my taken down surgery. He just told me that surgery sometimes results in having lifelong pain. So I still have no idea why or how I continue to have pain except colon surgery is problematic and that's just how it is.

I am very appreciative for the doctors time and for the information I received.
Providence Patient
Dr. Berger does not ever really care about the patients perspective or concerns of what things are like after surgery.
