About Payam Amini

As the Director of Vitreo Retinal Diseases at Cal Eye, Dr. Amini enjoys providing the most advanced treatment options, and as a principle investigator, he participates in research studies to aid in further advancements. He also instills confidence in his Farsi and Spanish speaking patients by being conversational in both languages. Dr. Amini and his wife Candice, an obstetrician, are parents to an adorable young lady, Sabrina and a very energetic young boy, William. But when time permits, Dr. Amini enjoys playing basketball, weight lifting and running.
