Venkatesh L. Brahma, MD

I attended Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. My internship was in Delaware, and I completed ophthalmology residency training at Yale School of Medicine. I then completed a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania. I am a board certified comprehensive ophthalmologist as well as a neuro-ophthalmologist. I provide medical and surgical services for routine ophthalmic issues such as cataracts, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. I also have a special interest in complex central nervous system disorders that affect vision such as strokes, multiple sclerosis and myasthenia gravis, and an expertise in eye problems such as optic neuritis, ocular migraine, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, double vision, and other eye movement problems. My wife and I recently moved from the east coast to beautiful Northern California. We love the great outdoors and spending time with family and friends. We look forward to exploring this beautiful area.
