He is a wonderful provider to have for my health journey. He understands my concerns after having skin cancer, and treats me with care and compassion!!!

I had to wait for a really long time to get an appointment with a dermatologist, which Wound up being Doctor Choi. I've seen several other dermatologist and physicians assistance in a dermatology office. One in particular, also in Issaquah, but not affiliated with Swedish, was terrible. In between the terrible visit and Dr. Chos visit, I did see another dermatologist, it was easier to get an appointment with, and was fine. I've been in the office previously though, and I did not like a prior physicians assistant. Of all the dermatologist I've seen over the past year for minor issues, Dr. Choi was by far the best one. I just wish he was easier to get in to see.

I appreciate Dr. Choi's thoroughness & professionalism. He took excellent care of me, including examining other areas of my skin for additional pre-cancerous lesions, and actuall found one I hadn't noticed. In addition, he was courtious & professional. I sincerely appreciate his most excellent help.

The only negative component was getting a skin cancer mapping appointment, which was four months out. Dr. Choi is just in high demand and after seeing him last week, I know why. He is an excellent doctor.

When making my appointment at first and they gave me a November appointment for a spot on my head that needed to be seen, but I was told that I would be put on a list to be seen with a sooner appointment if one became available and within a week I was called fir an appointment for the ne t day!!! I was amazed and delighted! Im THANKFUL the Dr was able to get me in so quickly, currently I am awaiting the results . I will say Excellent help thus far! Thank you

This was annual skin check, so have been there before. Dr. Choi reviewed my record before he entered the room, which I have never witnessed with any Swedish doctor, particularly my pcp. He then proceeded to ask me confirming questions based on what he read. He was professional and efficient.

Excellent knowledge of my history and last visit

First visit to Dr.Choi for skin lesion. He was very nice and helpful. He explained he would need to biopsy the lesion and he did so. He called me personally with the results.

Dr Choi and staff were great. This was a preventative check up. I wanted it sooner but didn't really need it sooner.

The doctor and I have agreed that I am an at risk patient and should increase the monitoring of my protential for skin cancer. The service that I receive is always rated a 10, because I always receive the best treatment that I have ever received in 50 years of skin cancer care and treatment. If I could get this level of treatment for all of my medical needs, I could relax and know that I am being cared for without me having to worry or worse, run the show.

Dr. Young Choi is an excellent dermatologist who I am recommending to friends and family. I am suggesting that they check to see if he is covered under their medical Insurance and to go to him when they need a dermatologist!

My mom goes to Doctor Choi and recommended him to me as we have a history of skin cancer in our spare Skin family. Dr. Choi was very thoughtful in all of his questions his responses and had a female nurse in as we needed to do an all body check for skin cancer. I have absolutely nothing to say but wonderful things, if I had to say one thing, it's just how long it took to get the appointment. I think it was about six months before he could see me. Other than that from the men, I walked into Swedish Issaquah to the moment I left. I had nothing but exceptional service! I waited months for this appt, thinking that I had scheduled a surgical removal of a mole. There was a mix up in scheduling, and I was given a 15 minute appointment. Dr Choi did a biopsy. Surgical removal will be scheduled. Not sure how the scheduling mix up happened, but it was unsettling considering how far out the appointment was scheduled. Was thankful for the biopsy. I have good faith and confidence in Dr Choi.

He was so funny and gentle. I laughed all the way home about our conversation. He was also very gentle during his exam

This provider was excellent except it seems like he's the only provider that provides skin care. Would be nice to have more skin care doctors.

He actually listened to me and wanted to help me fix my issue. The only fix he could think of was painful and he explained that to me before hand. He did the procedure and it couldn't have gone better. I cried actual tears after my appointment because after about 15+ years with this rash, he was the only provider to listen and offer actual help. Truly appreciative.

This was the first time I saw Dr. Choi, but I think he is good at what he does.

Dr Choi was very kind. He answered all my questions and concerns. He and the whole team were wonderful.

Excellent experience all around (at both check-in and with Dr. Choi), but it was difficult getting an appointment because there was a 4-month long waitlist to be seen, which is extremely unfortunate if you are dealing with something that is possibly contagious. Fortunately, there was a cancellation and my daughter was able to be seen after two weeks.

Dr. Choi was the best dermatologist I have seen. Three previously dismissed this area as being nothing but an irritant. However that "irritant" is a cancer. None of the previous ones tested it at all! Thankful that I was able to see one that took it seriously for once and he is also a very personable doctor. Would recommend him to anyone right away. Treated respectfully and with the idea that you are there for a legitimately serious reason! He is a top doctor as far as I am comcerned!
