Celia Orduna, Doula

I became a doula after witnessing firsthand how many women — particularly women of color — are denied the dignity and respect they deserve during pregnancy and birth. These experiences shaped my mission: to advocate for equitable, compassionate care for all families, while working to help reduce the disproportionate risks mothers and newborns of color face in our healthcare system. As a birth doula, supporting prenatal, birth, and postnatal periods, I provide professional, evidence-based support tailored to each family’s unique needs. I am certified in Mental Health First Aid for both youth and adults, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Human and Family Services to deepen my ability to guide parents through every stage of the perinatal journey. My goal is to ensure that every family I serve feels informed, empowered, and respected in every decision, from pregnancy preparation to postpartum recovery. By combining formal training, lived experience, and a commitment to excellence, I help parents welcome their children into the world with confidence and peace of mind.
