About Lynne Hung
Dr. Lynne Hung grew up in Thousand Oaks, CA. She received her Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, and Doctorate of Medicine from the University Of Southern California (USC). She completed her internal medicine residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, cardiovascular fellowship at Los Angeles County- USC medical center, and a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Harbor-UCLA/ Good Samaritan Hospital. Prior to joining Mission Internal Medical Group, Dr. Hung was a full-time senior faculty at Scott & White Memorial Hospital/ Texas A&M University Medical Center. She served as Associate Director of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship program. She has trained fellows that have become successful cardiac electrophysiologist in both academic and private practice sectors.
Dr. Hung has co-authored several book chapters and peer reviewed articles in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. As a subspecialty-trained cardiac electrophysiologist, Dr. Hung is skilled in complex ablations and device implantations. She is familiar with the latest advancements in cardiac electrophysiology. Her special interest is atrial tachycardia ablation. She is also a principle investigator on several research projects.
Dr. Hung believes in delivering the best comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients. She spends time in explaining complex arrhythmias in simple terms to patients and helps them understand the best treatment options. She is always accessible to her patients and developing a trusting relationship with patients is most important to her.
She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac electrophysiology.
In her spare time, Dr. Hung enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, & playing golf.

Both Dr. Hung and Dr. Miyamoto came to see me when I called from the hospital, where I was in the stroke unit.Their prompt response and orders ensured I received the test needed to be sure I didn't have clots in my heartFrom my new prosthetic valve. This provided me confidence, following an ER visit, where the doctor told me I wasHaving vertigo and to go home with a medication he'd prescribe. I had to insist this dizziness was not vertigo, butA 911 situation. When I insisted, he ordered a CT scan that revealed a stroke. It took almost 5 hours in Mission ER waiting room to receive the proper test and diagnosis, because "my vital signs were normal". Thank goodness my cardiac physicians know me and listen to my symptoms and are there to followup. They are the best!

Hyper focus doesn't heal the patient. Cardio a mess that morning. I was totally stressed since she was SO late with no communication. Waited to do the EKG. She KNEW I needed one so have the staff do if you're late. Only recommendation is surgery. Zero regard for lifestyle changes. I've done a lot of work to figure this out but she shuts down the conversation. Probably because SHE was LATE!! I'm paying so her time is not more important than mine.

She is quite busy and sometimes I feel a bit hurried during a visit and last time I was there she thought it was for my A-fib but actually she had asked to see me to discuss nosebleeds I've been having that could be caused by the Xarelto I'm taking. I was called by the office to make an appointment because she wanted to discuss the Watchman Procedure with me but when I came in she had forgotten that that's why I was there to see her. I do realize that she has many patients and is extremely good at what she does but I did feel a little strange after I left. I guess I felt that all of that should have been in my chart in front of her. It seems like was a hectic day for everyone.
