About Dicran B. Baron

Dr. Baron graduated from UC San Diego with Honors in 1973. He then went on to UCSF Medical School graduating in 1978. After medical school, he did an Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at UCI Medical Center. Interested in arrhythmia management, he stayed at UCI and studied Cardiac Electrophysiology before it was a recognized specialty. He also taught at the Long Beach Veteran’s Hospital. Dr. Baron started his cardiology practice in 1985 here in Orange at St Joseph Hospital. He was amongst the first in the area to specialize in arrhythmia management. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He has 30 years experience in cardiac electrophysiology.
