About Rachel C. Cain
Rachel Cain, NP-C, is a certified nurse practitioner at Providence Heart Institute.
She began her health care journey at Montana State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been practicing medicine since 2010, with a focus in cardiac medicine.
Her practice emphasizes patient education, holistic, evidence-based care, collaborative treatment and believes that each patient's medical journey should be individualized. She is especially passionate about caring for those who are marginalized. In addition to clinical care, she contributed to leadership roles as co-chair of the Professional Practice Council. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys playing pickleball and loves spending time with her 2 children, husband and dog.
