Jessica Baca, PAC

Jessica Baca, PA C, became a medical provider to serve her community and was drawn to cardiology early in her academic journey. While studying biology at Carroll College, she discovered a passion for the heart’s physiology during intensive anatomy and physiology labs. That interest deepened during her clinical rotations in cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, where she witnessed both the complexity of cardiac care and the meaningful impact a provider can have during a patient’s most vulnerable moments. Jessica earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of St. Francis in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She began her career with the Presbyterian Heart Group before relocating to Oregon in 2021 to help develop a new cardiology practice with Salem Health Hospital and Clinics. She is now proud to be part of the Providence Heart Rhythm team in Portland. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time outdoors—hiking with her dog, Jasper, backpacking, and rock climbing. When indoors, she loves cozy moments with a good book, a warm cup of tea, and a knitting project.
