Dr. Tan is not only very knowledgeable and a professional clinician, he is compassionate, caring and listens to patients concerns. After listening, he then proceeds to explain and use medical terms that relay confidence and provides the answer, but equally important, uses terms that common people can understand. That goes a long way to helping patients understand the reality of the current condition and assisting with the decision making process. I appreciate that about his practice.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Tan. He is a teacher and I learned important things about my heart and care that I hadn't learned or understood in the past. I'd almost be willing to have surgery just so I could be under his care!

My prior specialist moved so this was my first visit. I have never been so impressed with the time and care I recieved. He took the time to ask questions, listen, and explain. He seemed to really care.

The visit was very informative and clear regarding having a Watchman implant. The doctor was an excellent teacher and had very clear drawings concerning the procedure and functions of the heart. He was very kind and listened to what questions I had and was thorough in his replies. It was an all around excellent exchange/appointment.

The nurse and Dr.Tan were both friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Dr.Tan listened to my concerns and directly addressed them showing he cared. He explained the procedure thoroughly and told me what my estimated outcome would be. He reviewed my echo and prior EKG's and explained results. He was expert at navigating all my information. He told me he wanted the best outcome for me in a way that made me believe him. I was quite satisfied with his caring, respect, sharing of knowledge, reassurance and thoroughness. Thank you for being you Dr.Tan!

He was very interested in why I was there, and how he could help me with my medical condition. He asked about my medical history and what my goals were for treatment, and he listened to my concerns! He was very reasonable in asking me to wait a few months before I had the procedure, and what I could do in the meantime. The last 2 doctors I spoke to about this issue were not helpful. Dr. Tan respected my viewpoint, and I look forward to talking to him in the future.

This was the most informative explanation of my chronic AFiB and arrhythmias issues that I've ever received. Your drawings of the heart, 4 nodes, signal paths and my right bundle branch block were extremely helpful. Exceptional Cardiac EP provider.

My family and I were impressed with Dr. Tan. He explained throughly the Watchman Procedure and all of my other options.

Dr. Tan replaced my former cardiologist for heart rhythm. It did take months to get in to see someone but I was on a wait list and got in on a cancelation. Otherwise I couldn't have seen him until Mid December. Dr. Tan was great and I look forward to seeing him regularly.
