I live in Barrow, AK. I had an ED visit and that dr thought I should see Dr Zivin. His office called scheduled me an appointment. He saw me during his lunch hour. He was so helpful as was his staff. I finally feel like I will get a diagnosis I should have had years ago. A holter monitor was placed and fell off a few days later, I used my chart to ask it be replaced since I was flying home and they allowed me to walk in. Great care!

I met with Dr.Zivin to get a second opinion about a scheduled catheter ablation. Scheduling the appointment with Dr.Zivin was a bit difficult because a referral from my private physician was required. The appointment began 20-30 minutes after the scheduled time because Dr.Zivin was reviewing my extensive medical history that led to the catheter ablation to be scheduled. I chose Dr.Zivin for the second opinion because of his extensive experience in performing the catheter ablation procedure. He listened carefully to my story, asked excellent questions, and convinced me that the risks of having the catheter ablation outweighed the benefits. I was very satisfied with my interaction with Dr.Zivin.

Generally, all has been excellent. The one thing I had difficulty doing was scheduling an important visit with the sleep clinic. I had to ask staff at my cardiologist's office to help me, which they did, and for which I am grateful.
