Lisa Dao, MD

Dr. Dao is a great doctor and her staff is wonderful. They take my concerns seriously, and are always quick to respond to me. I also really appreciate that Dr. Dao took the time to review my medical records that I submitted (and there were a lot!) BEFORE my appointment, so she was prepared to discuss them when I arrive. Because of Dr. Dao's extensive clinical knowledge and caring bedside manner, I switched endocrinologists to her.

Dr Dao is very thorough.

Dr Dao is amazing. I love the level of respect she has and the kindness that she shows not just in words but with her body language. She is very knowledgeable but she doesn't make you feel inferior. She respects your dignity.

I have had nothing but great experiences with all of my providers.

Dr. Dao is knowledgeable about hyperthyroidism. She asked me to come for a visit every two months last year and also this year. Per her instructions I have done an Ultrasound, a Thyroid Uptake and a Biopsy. She is a good doctor but I am not sure if visiting her 6 times a year and going through all these tests was necessary, for an issue for which I have never experienced any pain. My primary doctor is Doctor Brian Leish in the Saddleback medical group. I have been told Doctor Leish is getting copies of the results of all these medical tests and blood tests that I have been going through.

I had an ultrasound for my thyroid to review. The doctor didn't bring it up. She followed up on my medications and recent blood draw and was done in less than 5 minutes and was ending the visit. I had to remind her of the ultrasound. There was not much explanation. I had to advocate for myself more than I believe I should have. I did not feel that she listened to me and I felt very rushed. I also felt dumb for anything I said or asked. I appreciated her thoroughness in my first couple visits, but was pretty unimpressed with my last visit.

Dr Dao was extremely attentive to my questions and stated I was doing a great job controlling my diabetes.

Dr. Daw reviewed all my medication with me also the lab work. Very nice and friendly Dr.

My doctor is always concerned about my well being and communication with my health condition and how to improve getting better. My health has improved since I have been going to Dr. Lisa Do.

My experience with my care provider was excellent. I was referred to her by my Primary Care Physician. The 2nd question is oddly worded because I have to go to my primary care Physician first. One year ago, I was referred, to Dr. Dao who ordered blood work which showed some results that were too high. I worked to bring the numbers down. The latest lab test showed improvement in the right direction. I would not have known about these issues if Dr. Dao hadn't requested these blood test. I'm very grateful for the information. I will continue to hopefully bring down the numbers into normal range. And even more grateful that she requested the lab test when no one else did. Thank you for your service and care.

I would suggested not asking people to arrive 30 minutes early to the appointment if they have already completed the paperwork. That takes me away from my job unnecessarily. The doctor gave horrible recommendations. I was incredibly unimpressed and thought it was a waste of money, time, and effort. I expected a deeper dive into correcting or navigating my situation. Being told to "keep doing what I'm doing" when I say I'm not feeling my best is senseless.

Always have a positive outcome to every visit I have had .The doctor understands my personal issues.

Well I really don't know where to start. Dau is my wife's doctor so I was referred to the Doctor. When I talk to her it's like she is reading my mind and I like that because it saves time.
