I am a retired orthopedic surgeon, so I know what a good doctor must do.Dr Knox has only been in practice for a short time, but it is obvious that she is very well trained and has a clear understanding of what a good doctor must do and how to do it. I am very pleased with the care she gives me and the way she explains every thing I need to know. I think she has great potential and is a real asset to your service.

Dr. Knox is quite impressive. I had my sister with me that is a retired nurse. She worked well with my sister and was quite specific on my condition. A former nurse practitioner seemed to think I had a limited time to live. Dr. Knox assured me that if I followed directions I can live longer and happier. One of the best Doctors I've ever had.

It was a very informative appointment. The staff and Doctor were great.

Dr Knox was very thorough and explained the possibilities for the conditions and options for further testing better than any doctor before and I have a very good family doctor so that's saying something. She listened to my many questions and answered them all. It's comforting to talk to a specialist who really knows their speciality. I'm grateful she was able to explain how different things act in the body and what next steps she suggested.Very calm and professional. Her assistant briefed her well and was professional as well.

I appreciate that Dr. Knox discussed details of my dex charts and was able to simplify how I could calculate my insulin shots. She was thorough in other aspects of my care.

I am a retired surgeon, so my experience may be different from the usual. Dr Knox is new to a full time practice, and I think she is doing very well. She certainly knows her specialty very well, she communicates very well, and she listens carefully. She is a specialist that I don't have to see often, but I think she certainly knows her business and I am glad to see her.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Knox. She presented the medical/scientific information clearly, followed up with print-outs of what she was explaining. I was impressed with the time she took to conduct our appointment.

My experience has been good so far. She is relatively new to me but I do like her style of mentoring

I recieved lots of helpful information.

This practice needs the use of a microscope when doing thryoid nodule biopsies. Dr. Knox did a biopsy on my thyroid and took several samples from the nodule but was unable to confirm in real time if enough cells had been collected in order to affect a solid answer from the pathologist whether the nodule was benign or not. I have had these biopsies performed at John Muir Hospital in past years and they had that equipment and were able to confirm that they had sufficient cells for the pathologist to review. It seems to me it is to the patients benefit for Providence to provide the needed equipment to the practice. Please do not take this comment as a criticism of Dr Knox. She performed a good biopsy. Talked me through what was happening while she was working and I was pleased with her care.

I will have to return in a couple months to check up on my thyroid so as of now no thyroid medication of any kind and hopefully I will not have to go back on I thought she was in tune with just me I like Dr Knox thank you very much see you soon

Dr Knox is very meticulous regarding having my health information correct, especially with respect to my thyroid health. She was also very helpful with answering other health matters I brought up.
