About Dharscika Arudkumaran
Dr. Arudkumaran is a fellowship trained endocrinologist capable of treating patients with hormonal problems related to the thyroid, pituitary, parathyroid, adrenal, pancreas, ovaries and testes, and bones, such as diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, pituitary tumors, osteoporosis, adrenal insufficiency, and glandular tumors. She has a special interest in reproductive endocrinology. Dr. Arudkumaran was led into medicine by her interest in helping people and looks not only at the medical issue by sees the whole person. When she is not working, Dr. Arudkumaran enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest and experiencing nature from sea to mountains.

Dr Arunkumuran is attentive, approachable, confident, and willing to hear questions and concerns. I felt she was thorough and respectful of my concerns and opinions (even if I was wrong). She didn't talk down to me. She disagreed with one piece of information I had, told me why, but to the degree that no harm would be done, she would be willing to "go my way," which made it easy for me to hear what she had to say and go with her expertise. I am impressed.

My testosterone has been low for years. The endocrinologist didn't just prescribe testosterone, she instead wants to know why it is low -- which I really appreciated. So she's scheduled an MRI and had me do some extensive blood tests to help me figure out what is going on. I was very impressed and very grateful.
