Magdalena Garbacz, ARNP

Magdalena is brusque and sarcastic. I hadn't had an appointment in an extended period of time and she first greeted me by asking if I had forgotten I had diabetes. Though it may have been made in jest, it certainly was not received that way. Throughout the appointment I felt as though I was being shamed for being a less than perfect patient. Instead of trying to educate and question what the cause of difficulties were (missed meds etc), her reaction was to essentially say 'you need to do better'. I will be looking for another provider. I will not recommend her to others in my situation.

Professional care received

I love Magdalena Garbacz. Yes I said love, and I've never said that about a health care professional before. Being assigned to her after my previous provider retired was the best thing ever to happen to me in more than three decades of living with Type 1 diabetes, as she's easily the best endocrinology provider I've ever seen. Magdalena is smart, knowledgeable, kind, patient, compassionate, and so easy to talk with about anything. Plus I feel like she knows me and cares about me as a person. She inspires me to do my best in managing my diabetes: she's affirming when I do well and encouraging when I fall short. I never feel judged the way I've felt with other providers. Magdalena is everything I've been looking for, she's really a diabetes coach and cheerleader. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Magdalena Garbacz is an exceptional diabetic professional. She's very intuitive, knowledgeable & recently prescribed long acting insulin which has already lowered my daily blood glucose levels. Everything she has recommended has improved my ability to better manage my blood sugar. She is the BEST & I'm very grateful!

Great routine check up. The professional was strictly diabetes. Did answer, explain and have concern about the questions I could ask of, in that moment. Really appreciate her as my endocrinologist.

Provider had free CGM available, put the receiver on my arm and programed it. I had insulin changes at a recent hospitalization(another provider) which she continued. Provider( as many Providence providers do now) used mainly digital media, with I am only barely familiar with.

She's GREAT !!

The provider listened to my concerns and directed me on how to address them. She was kind and compassionate. I was very apprehensive about the appointment, but afterwards felt relieved with her encouragement on my situation and changed one of my medications to help with my issue. I'm very grateful for this appointment.

Magdalena, is by far the best provider for my diabetes that I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She has explained more to me in the short time I have known her that anyone in my past. I have had type 1 diabetes for 55 years and I very much appreciate her sharing her knowledge in a way that I understand.

I had a pump problem last March. I called this office and was immediately connected to a nurse. She immediately gave me the information I needed to help me. I was amazed at the speed of help when I needed it. Excellent care!

Magdalena is a very compassionate ,caring doctor

Magdalena Garbacz Is one of the best Doctors I have ever visited. She listens to all my questions and concerns and explains and answers all pertinent questions and comments on all my concerns.She has always exceeded all my expectations in every way. I sincerely hope she doesn't give up on me, as I try to work thru my medical conditions, and some times don't do what I should each day.
