I have had some troubling times with primary doctors. I was fed up with my past doctor and I took the time yo do research. I made an appointment and I was pleased with her knowledgeable of medicines and my conditions. She asked me questions and told me it would take time to read my records. I have 5 serious conditions. I feel that this 1st meeting I have a doctor that understands.

This was my first visit with Dr Jean Yau and I couldn't be more grateful. Dr Yau is thorough, knowledgeable, and very kind, all the things a person needs to address medical needs. When we completed the history part of the visit, she looked at me and asked "what do you think?" and I gave a huge sigh of relief that she sees me as a partner in my own healthcare.

Excellent listener, perceptive, up-to-date knowledge of care standards, takes into account the patient's perspective, asks what my goals are, she also asked what my expectations are as to coordination of specialists, etc. In other words, she is a doctor who wants, and encourages, the patient to be an active partner with her in managing all aspects of care. Last, she was thorough, patient and kind and allowed extra time for questions and concerns even though I was the last appointment at the end of the day and it was past closing. She definitely has the best interest of the patient as her first concern and so does the staff who work with her. Excellent doctor and excellent staff.

Dr. Yau was excellent. It's easy for providers to make patients feel rushed or not listened to, especially with the systemic constraints put on them like short visit slots per patient, but Dr. Yau took her time with me, checked in to make sure I understood and see if I had any questions, and displayed sympathy and caring. I would recommend this provider to friends.

Everything is great within extreme limits of survey. Overall delay and detached health provision is not acceptable. Delays that injure my health are denial of service. Whether global or particular to providence I can't say

After reviewing my blood tests with dr Jean. She has said everything was fine it has to be my stress for the last 2 years. She seems like she's treating the numbers not the patient. Personal opinion. We're all under stress In life pretty vague answer

It was my first appointment with her. I was very pleased and impressed with her in every way. I'm looking forward to a long term commitment with her. I had interviewed two other primary caregivers who did not work out. However, she was far and above my expectations.

Dr. Yau is incredible. I feel so fortunate that I ended up having her as my provider during my pregnancy. She takes extra care with all my concerns and has been instrumental in helping me navigate my due date that closely coincides with a current nursing strike.

They listened to my concerns and was not dismissive. Actually tried to answer my questions thoroughly. Really nice and seemed really caring. I am excited to be in their care. Everyone I met there was super nice and patient. Enjoyed my visit.
