Sarah C. Y. Kim, MD

Dr. Sarah Chan Yae Kim is a Family Medicine physician who felt called to the medical profession after her first career in Event Production. She was born in South Korea, moved to the US at age 9, and completed medical school at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. She trained at Riverside Community Hospital for her internship and residency, where she helped develop the Population Health and Palliative/Hospice Care rotation curricula to enhance the medical education for future residents. Dr. Kim's areas of expertise and clinical areas of interest include comprehensive primary care from newborns to geriatrics, along with Women's Health (OB/GYN). Dr. Kim's philosophy of care is to promote health of patients and their families at every stage of their life, in order for them to enjoy the highest quality of life possible. She welcomes opportunities to empower patients with the knowledge and resources that may enhance the patients' medical experience by supporting patients becoming invested participants in their own care. She believes that a person's physical health is merely a part of their overall wellbeing, and mental and spiritual health deserve as much attention for patients to truly thrive. In her spare time, she enjoys attending live performing arts productions, enjoying outings with her dog Oreo, mentoring college/postgraduate students, and traveling to try food/drinks that are favorites in their locales.
