June was an excellent provider. Very attentive ,caring, professional and through .

My visit with June Makiyama went well. This was a folow up appointment from my urgent care visist. She was very patient and thorough. She listened carfully to my problems and concerns, answered my questions, gave sugestions to help with my stomach issue until I get all the results back. I was concered about my loss of appetite and irregular BMs so she put in a request for colonoscopy. It was my first time seeing June and I felt confident in her ability. I would definitly recomend her and would request to see her if my PCP was not available. So furtuate to have met her.

My provider was absolutely excellent. She addressed my concerns and completely explained things to me. One question is very confusing. It says In the last three months, did my provider order an x-ray, etc. This is the first time I saw her. She Ordered a CT scan for an area that I've been Concerned over for Oversix months. The question needs to be rephrased such as did this provider order x-rays, etc. Not in the last three months. Did this provider order when this Was the first time In seeing the provider

It was a good experience

Very disappointed that prior to visit with June Makiyama, which was my initial visit to this office, I was not provided the medical history and other first time patient forms. My understanding is that all medical records are to be handled electronically. Seems this information could have been emailed to me or available via the portal. Also, I hand delivered medical records to this office at least 3 weeks prior to my appointment. Yet when June sought these, they were not available. I was impressed with the care I received in the exam room. Not so much while in waiting room.

I had a great experience. PA Jane Makiyama was very attentive and answered all questions.

From previous annual exams, I felt like this was not as thorough. The PA did not ask about what has happened in the last year. She ran really late and seemed rush to finish.

Best care ever

I've loved every practitioner that I've seen at this location, but this was the first time I walked away with more questions than answers. I believe it was due to a lack of knowledge about my specific medication. When I called to book a follow up with someone I had already worked with, I was offered someone new. I didn't realize until later that the practitioners I was previously seeing could not be booked over the phone. I had to message my PCP in the Providence app to get an appointment with the right person. It was a bit confusing.

I felt like an inconvenience when I tried to talk about my hormones and what I was experiencing. The PA was uneasy about it all and quite frankly I felt like when if ask questions her responses were not confident. I will be switching drs

June took a lot of time with me and made appropriate referrals.

Regarding this last visit, the provider did not ask how much weight was lost since my last check in even though weight management is a concern; she came on the line asking the reason I was callingthis was a scheduled appointment. She seemed confused about the appointment.

This provider was in lieu of my regular doctor and was about a prescription refill. Satisfied with response.

This PA provided excellent patient centered care.

Good Dr. June Makiyama

Dr Gilbert has been my Dr for so long I didn't think I'd find a Dr to replace him so quickly. I am extremely surprised to find June. She has the best bedside manners. Easy to speak to and I felt heard. Her suggestions made me feel like she has my best interest in mind. She's on time, clam, and thorough. I will continue to work with her and suggest her to my friends and family

She was very personable and made me feel at ease discussing the nature of my visit. She explained the medication prescribed and what exactly it was for and what to expect while taking it. Made sure I understood everything and asked if there was anything else she could help me with. I felt very satisfied with my visit and now, 3 days later, I am feeling much better already. This was an associate of my primary care doctor, but was through and very attentive - thanks!

I was feeling miserable around those days with the sharpest pounding headache which made my eyes feel like these were bulging out, and was unable to get in to see my regular provider as he was booked that week. The scheduler offered an immediate opening for the next day with this care provider for which I greatly appreciate. She became my lifesaver! An EKG was performed and luckily there was no need for me to go to ER after all. She diagnosed me with hypertension and started me on BP meds, also gave me pain relief injection to help ease the headache and help me buy enough time while I stop by the pharmacy and start my new meds ASAP. Thankfully she took me off work for 4 days enough time to allow the BP meds to start kicking in to its fullest and relief my symptoms completely. I am very thankful for this

Everything went great ! The provider made me comfortable as I am a senior 70 yrs old and she was very helpfull during this visit she took her time and answered all my questions

This was the first time that I saw this particular PA. She was personable and professional in responding to the purpose of my appointment. I needed to see my PCP for a pre op physical. My regularly assigned PCP was not available. It was good that the care provider was able to see me. Would you call it bad that my PCP was not able to see me? Or, should we agree that SJHLMG was able to meet my needs?
