John D. Pendleton, MD

Dr. Pendleton became interested in medicine as a teenager after undergoing major neck surgery and numerous other medical complications. The experience was life changing and directly led to his continued passion for practicing medicine. Originally from San Jose, California, Dr. Pendleton attended medical school in a combined Dartmouth-Brown program. He as his wife then moved back out west to escape the cold and be near family. He joined Petaluma Health Center in 2005 due to its commitment to innovation, improving a patient’s experience of healthcare, and serving all people in the community. He enjoys working with both children and adults and treasures working with families in Petaluma through both the joys and challenges. In his free time, Dr. Pendleton likes to play the drums, mountain bike and spend time with his wife and two amazing kids.
