Oscar Gantes, MD

My "long time" primary care doctor was changing his "billing procedure" and he gave his patients a list of potential new care givers. Dr. Gantes was on that list and his office was closer to my residence. I made an appointment with Dr. Gantes and arrived 30 minutes early. It was another hour before Dr.Gantes appeared! I like him but he seemed in a hurry. He reordered prescriptions for me and said I should come back in two(2) months. I think I will like him. He has a nice personality. I hope we can get to know each other on a doctor/patient relationship?

This isn't an accurate survey for my experience. Even though my wait time was sooo long, about an hour, my experience was good. He had a student teacher in for most of the appointment(he wasn't In the room, but I was wondering if he was sick) and then he followed up and implemented the things I had inquired about.

The doctor "listened" to my lungs through a heavy jacket and a sweater.

Dr Gantes is an excellent doctor. Provided excellent care.

The doctor that I saw had to fill in for my doctor that's out on a leave of absence. He did a very good job filling in for her.

How we relocated from the fire zone of Pacific Palisades Malibu, I am happy to find Dr. Gantes and will be using him in the future for my medical care.

Dr. Pham is our PCP & always exceptional, thorough, kind and efficient! Today I saw Dr Oscar G and he made sure to ask questions to learn about my needs and delivered outstanding service. Great office staff too from reception to medical assistant everybody was professional and kind!

He was very attentive, took his time to explain new medications ordered and discussed treatment options with other physicians In their practice too. I really liked my first time appt with him.

Dr Gentes was extremely thorough and found things I wasn't even aware of on my CAT scan and MRI after having a TIA stroke and very recently coming out of emergency. They were very responsive and seeing me and the doctor was very thorough in his explanation of what I went through. I am very grateful with a care I received. T do plan to write doctor a great review of the care I was given.

I went to the urgent care in San Clemente because my dermatologist could not see me until December and I had a ruptured cost that needed care right away. Got in within 3 hours.

He listens to me a lot. Very smart doctor and concerned.

First visit and Moving to this new office closer to home -

It was a first time meeting to find a new Primary Care Doctor and I think this Doctor will work for me. I have an upcoming surgery and once scheduled, I will need to return to Doctor Oscar to get cleared and if all goes as I think it should, I'll choose him as my primary care physician.

Dr. Gantes was very kind and professional. I really respect him.

The care was right on target. The physician was well informed and provided good care. The only downside to the visit was the 50-minute wait between my appointment time and the time I was seen. Otherwise, yes, all of the important aspects of the visit were above-average. I normally get my care from a PCP (Dr. Bisuna) who is on leave, so that was the reason for this visit further south.

I visited this office because I needed an Urgent Care service for pain I was feeling. The UC wasn't open but an appointment was open so I was scheduled for that. As a result of my excellent experience during this visit, I intend to request a change in my primary care physician to Dr. Gantes. Everything about my appointment especially the care, professionalism and friendliness of all the staff, has shown me that my current provider falls well short in each of those areas and my expectations.

My regular doctor is Dr Bisuna but she is on a LOA. Dr Gantes has taken on her patients. He is very easy to talk to & very thorough. Went through my chart with me. I would refer anyone I know to Dr Gantes

He replaced Dr Bisuna who I have seen for years. I'm 85 and have had lots of doctors appts thru the years.. Never have I had as thorough appt as I have had with Dr. Oscar. I love him and will be keeping him as my Dr even is Bisuna Comes back I have been singing his praises to everyone

This was our first time to meet with Dr. Gantes. He was very nice and kind to my husband who has several permanent injuries. Dr. Did a great job going over all of his conditions and gave us his professional advice and referrals.

Dr. Gantes and his team have been very helpful to me and my two daughters. He and his team's level of knowledge and bedside manner have been excellent. We appreciate the quality of care they are providing us.

Great Care. He is a new Dr for me, as I have lost 4 Drs this past month including Dr Bisuna my PCP of approx 15 yrs. I will say after only 2 visits he iadvocates for his patients & willing to work with me to proceed with my complex medical needs and care.He's a great addition to Mission Heritage group
