The one thing that bothers me is not being able to see a doctor. Usually a PA, which is ok sometimes but not all the time. I would really like to have a doctor I can see, however Kevin has been very good, he referred me to a foot doctor,Dr Grierson,that was very helpful and alleviated my sore toe and was very thorough.

Extremely very good I will not go anywhere else. I like the staff my doctor and everything they do for me.

My first experience with Kevin Nelson, I was very impressed. He correctly diagnosed a symptom to possibility of a sinus condition not a heart condition, which cleared on antibiotics and breathing was restored to normal. He was open to my comments and theories of what may be wrong, I felt heard!

This PA is the best

Kevin was very thoughtful and patient. I wanted to explain all of what I knew about my own experience and he listened.

I am a new patient to the practice. Kevin had reviewed a lot of prior clinical information and labs before our appointment. He was thorough and well informed. His treatment plan/recommendations were thoughtful and his manner collaborative.

Part of problem with my hearing cleared by washing all of the wax out. However I will need to cover the ringing one reduced hearing in my right ear when I see Dr. Cooper in early July.

Kevin was friendly and knowledgeable. My visit was low stress.

This was my 1st visit with Dr Nelson, I was very impressed, he is very nice, shows care and concern with your problems, listens to what you have to say. He explained his diagnosis and why he was giving me 2 prescriptions and asked for a call back to make sure I was doing ok.

The provider listened to my concerns and did not interrupt or talk over me - the prescription he gave me improved my illness very quickly and I would be suffering if he had not done that. He listened to what I told him. I have had some PAs or nurses just lecture about the fact that every one has colds or the flu currently - but when one is 72, one knows when it's bacterial and time is of the essence-- and the longer you have to battle an infection the harder it gets to get well again. He gave me a better (strong) prescription that was effective.

This young man was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made good down-to-earth suggestions. And he prescribed Celebrex, which had proved to be a wonderful drug. I have very little pain at the times I used to have a lot of pain. A great addition to his department.

My care has been wonderful I feel that I am backed up and that I am in good hands the it's such an improvement over the last couple of years I didn't always feel there was a backup but I kind of understood the situation I am very grateful for all your support I have one thing that's difficult but I don't know the answer to a solution I see a different person each time I have no complaints about any one of them even when my doctor was able to help me it was hard to get an appointment with her at that time as I said it is not a complete it's sometimes difficult but I still feel very supportive and thank you

The doctor spent alot of time with me. I could tell he really looked at my test results.

Dr Kevin Nelson, PA was great. (my primary is Lawrence Cooper) Kevin took time to listen and discuss my cat scan results from the Sutter ER and offered good info on what all is going on with the acute diverticulitis and beyond for my system. I was honestly so impressed since often In the last few years I have been told "You can only discuss one issue per visit". Or... "You get 15 minutes max" and just being so frustrated with Providence overall as a result. Kevin was a refreshing change from that "we don't really have time for you" patient treatment culture. I will ask for him specifically in the future. He was knowledgable and looked at the whole picture which I truly appreciated. I have been gravitating away from providence because of my dissatisfaction for several years. My cardiologist, dermatologist and ENT are with UCSF and ob/gyn is with Sutter. I think you can look at their models and see a big difference from the service I had been experiencing with your organization. I am only sharing this not to complain, but to provide constructive comments, that you might endeavor to instill change. I know healthcare is tough and will probably only get worse, but since you asked? You need more Kevins! Thank you for listening.
