Jenna M. Smith, PAC

"In my practice, I like to emphasize preventive medicine and patient education," said Jenna McClain, PA-C. "When patients are given insight into their health, I believe treatments and overall outcomes are more successful." Jenna chose to become a physician assistant to combine her love of science and passion for patient care. "I believe it's important to create an atmosphere of mutual trust and open communication with my patients so that we can work together to address concerns and achieve health goals," said Jenna. "I enjoy forming strong, lasting relationships with individuals and families to help them meet their long-term goals."

After earning her bachelor's degree in cellular, molecular and developmental biology from the University of Washington in Seattle, she completed her Master of Medical Science degree at Saint Frances University in Lorreto, Pa. Jenna is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Jenna was born in Seattle and raised in West Linn, Ore. She recently moved back to the West coast after spending seven years in Washington, D.C. In her free time, Jenna enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants in Portland.
