About Kristine A. Kruger
When considering medical careers, Dr. Kruger knew that she wanted to engage with patients on multiple levels in their lives. “Family medicine allows me the privilege of doing that,” she says. “The human body, mind and spirit are wonderous. I want my patients to understand that they are the experts in their own bodies, and I am here as their partner to help them stay as healthy as possible.” Dr. Kruger loves providing women’s health care and has many years of experience in this area. She also has provided gender-affirming care for several years and is very comfortable with any gender issues that patients may have. “I try to listen deeply and to understand what matters most to each person,” she says, “so that we can prioritize those values in their health journey.” A University of Oregon graduate, Dr. Kruger earned her medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University. She completed her internship and residency at Natividad Medical Center, an affiliate of the University of California San Francisco. In addition, she spent an extra year in medical training in Guatemala and Bolivia. She is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Kruger grew up in Boring, Ore. A mom to two fantastic daughters and an Aussiedoodle, she enjoys running, hiking, doing yoga and staying physically active in general.
