As someone undergoing a profoundly difficult medical journey that includes oncology, receiving warm and genuine care from a medical professional truly means the world to me and this is the experience I had with Dr Calopiz. I'd only met with her once before under much easier circumstances so I was unsure what to expect in this new context. I was very happy when I left the visit feeling warmly supported and cared for, with a clear plan for the issue(s) I came in to see her about. Experiences like these have a meaningful and positive impact in my life.

Her attitude this time was somewhat stilted compared to previous visits. She didn't show much compassion to my needs as an older adult.

I'm very impressed and relieved to have Dr. Calopiz as my doctor. I called the office on Wednesday before Thanksgiving with concerns about potential hepatitis exposure and some confusion regarding my past medical history. Dr. Calopiz was able to get both me and my husband in that same day, ordered necessary labs, and eased a great deal of anxiety and confusion. I truly appreciate that I can rely on her to take my medical concerns seriously and to help me navigate health related issues with care and clarity.

She is the gold standard for a primary physician.
