About Lindsay A. Parlee
“Movement is medicine, and sports medicine is for anyone,” says Dr. Parlee. “Our ability to move helps us shape and bring meaning to life. It keeps our muscles flexible, our bones strong, and our organs functioning well. I’m here to help keep you moving so you can continue to do the things that bring value to your life.”
Dr. Parlee’s interest in medicine began in high school, when a sports medicine physician helped her recover from knee surgery, get back on the field and continue vying for a college soccer scholarship. After that, she says, “I knew I wanted to help people.” In her practice, she enjoys learning people’s stories while partnering with them as an educator, advocate and coach on their health journeys. “My role is to empower patients to make decisions that will further their own health and well-being,” she says. In addition, as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, she strives to create a safe space for all people and to provide care that respects her patients’ cultural and personal values and beliefs.
A graduate of the University of Oregon, Dr. Parlee earned her medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University. She completed her residency at PeaceHealth Family Medicine of Southwest Washington, and her fellowship in sports medicine at Marshall Primary Care in Huntington, WV. She is board certified in sports medicine and family medicine.
Dr. Parlee is a former soccer coach (club, high school and college) and high school science teacher. In her free time, she enjoys going to Portland Thorns games, snowboarding, working on DIY home projects, hanging out with her dog, cooking for friends and family members, and traveling with her girlfriend.

I just love my Doctor L. Parlee is awesome. She is the best Dr. That I ever had in my entire lifetime. She shows how much she cares about what I'm going through and isn't trying to take my pain medication away. She is aware that I take my pain medicine like I'm supposed to. I never go over what I'm allowed too. She Respects me and how I know what really works for me. It's taken a long time that a Dr cares more about the Patient (me) then what these people who work in their office never coming down to talk with the patients. And then they think it's in my best interest to take something else for pain that doesn't do shit. My pain level shoots through the roof. But Dr Parlee understands that I'm in real pain from my L4, L5 and S1 down my left leg.. And because I finally was able to change my healthcare to Providence and St. Vincent Hospital I've been able to have surgery on my left foot that for almost 4 year's the Dr.'s in Tillamook refused to actually send me to Dr.'s that actually care about the patient and not their pocket's. So if you want me to do these stupid survey's. Then know that Dr Parlee is the best Dr that you've ever hired. Now allow her to continue allowing her to prescribe me ALL MY MEDICATIONS EVEN MY PAIN MEDICATION.
