About Vihangi Hindagolla
From an early age, Vihangi Hindagolla, D.O., knew that she wanted to help others. Medicine seemed like a natural fit, given her love for science and curiosity for how things work. “I chose to go into family medicine because of the focus on preventative care, the broad scope of practice, and the opportunity to work with people of all ages,” Dr. Hindagolla says. She decided to further specialize in sports medicine because she saw how important activity and movement was to overall health and well-being. “I want to help patients stay active so they can continue doing the things they love.”
In her practice, Dr. Hindagolla places a strong emphasis on preventative care and education. She also takes a patient-centered approach to medicine, treating the person as a whole and not a sum of their medical conditions. In addition to sports medicine, Dr. Hindagolla is passionate about women’s health, pediatric care, and osteopathic medicine. “I feel that my role as a provider is to be a guide or mentor to my patients,” she says, “and provide them with the information they need to make the best medical decisions for themselves.” While Dr. Hindagolla will always advocate for her patients, she wants to empower them with knowledge so they may advocate for themselves as well. Dr Hindagolla loves meeting people from different walks and backgrounds, hear the stories about how they are where they are, and learning about what motivates them. She says it is truly a privilege to be a part of her patients’ lives. “I’m excited to partner with them and their families for their health needs.”
After earning her medical degree from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Washington state, Dr. Hindagolla completed an internship, residency, and fellowship at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, which is also in Washington state.
Dr. Hindagolla was born and raised in Oregon. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, hiking, and exploring new cultures and cuisines.

Providence Patient
This doctor is young but seemed very experienced and her diagnosis was very methodical. She is not my regular primary doctor but I want to make her my new care doctor now. Thank you

The Bridge Team was helpful getting me "on-board" as a new PT, lining up Rx renewals, and scheduling first appt with Dr Hindsgolla, Dr H's assistant also treated me well. Dr H was aware of many issues in my medical history, and I felt she listened as well as she communicated information (both very well!). I'm happy with the location and my new PCP
