Kristina Rashid, MD, enjoys being a physician because of the opportunities it offers her to establish mutually respectful relationships with people of many different ages, cultures and ethnicities. "I feel it is truly a privilege to practice medicine," she says. "I strive to be someone my patients can trust and confide in about their health care needs."
Dr. Rashid earned her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and completed her internship and residency at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Washington. She is board certified in family practice.
Born in Ottawa, Canada, Dr. Rashid enjoys spending time with her husband, Wayne, who is also a physician, and their two children. Her interests include photography, yoga, hiking and cross-country skiing
