Emma Fischler, FNP

My love of learning and working with people led me to my career as a nurse. Driven by a desire to expand my clinical knowledge and creating positive health outcomes, I decided to go back to school. After several years of working at the bedside, I received my Doctorate of Nursing degree from Oregon Health and Sciences. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, my educational background focused on learning about pathophysiology and disease management and the human experience of disease and health. Human connection and open discussions are the focus of my care-delivery model. Health is often complicated. Exploring lifestyle and environmental factors is vital to delivering well-rounded care. I believe we are only successful in healthcare if patient-centered care is at the forefront of how we care for people.
