Gillian C. Rosicky, FNP

Gillian Rosicky, FNP, chose to go into medicine because she was fascinated with the complexity and resilience of the human body. But over her many years of practice she’s found her biggest joy is working with families. “Hearing patients’ stories, being present for both joys and sorrows, has been an honor and a privilege for me,” she says.

In her practice, Gillian emphasizes collaborative decision- making. “Each person brings a unique experience and background to the provider-patient relationship, and I try to honor that experience,” she says. She also feels understanding the whole person is key. “I think it's important to take the time to ask about family, work and what gives a person joy or sadness, if I'm going to offer any help as a clinician," she says.

Gillian earned both her undergraduate degree and master’s degree in nursing from the University of Portland. She has special experience and interest in pediatrics and women's health care.

Born and raised in Portland, Gillian has lived all over, but Portland is still her favorite place in the world. She has three lovely daughters and her family is soccer obsessed, with regular attendance at Portland Thorns and Portland Timbers soccer games. In her free time Gillian also enjoys gardening, cooking, and she makes every effort to travel, as much as possible.
