About Joshua Raj
Dr. Joshua Raj emphasizes patient education and preventive care in his practice. "Through effective education I can work mutually with my patients and also incorporate the preventive approach to various aspects of disease management," he says.
He uses a holistic and compassionate approach to care and enjoys building a rapport with his patients and constantly motivating them towards better health. "I find a sense of pride in motivating my patients, encouraging them to take control of their own health by developing healthier living habits in general," he says.
Dr. Raj, who was born in Madras, India, earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio. He is board certified in family medicine.
Away from his practice, he enjoys tennis, karate, camping, wildlife and marine life.

During my last wellness visit, Dr. Raj was able to help us (my husband and I) problem solve how to get our medications when we are snowbirding out of state. He is an excellent thought partner and provided us with many alternatives to select the best course of action.
