I have been seeing Dr. Gerhard for many, many years. I have seen her mature in her practice. Dr. Gerhard has always been a very compassionate and caring individual. She listens carefully and responds to questions and concerns in understandable language. No matter the burdens and pain I carry into an appointment I always leave encouraged that my life will improve. It is sad this year, however, that due to my insurance a logical resolution to my problem was not forthcoming, no fault of Dr. Gerhard. Went on My Chart for an appointment with Dr. Gerhard. When nothing was available for a week, I called and got an appointment that afternoon. I was very happy I could see her that afternoon.

Dr.Amy is absolutely the best doctor I have ever had. She listens, makes me feel valued. She has a game plan and lets me feel part of the choices (oh course she knows best) she understands how to help me maintain a DOT card and pass the DOT Physical by only prescribing medication that won't violate my card and to maintain my card. She is always ontop of this, after I ask she is already considered my DOT and my Job requirements. I honestly feel she is looking out for my best interest at all times. When I need her assistance or advice she is always available in a reasonable amount of time. She can't be perfect except somehow she is with her job. I am truly thankful and feel blessed that I ended up with her years ago. She deserves a raise!!

Dr gerhard was AMAZING! I went to her for an IUD removal and reinsertion with a pap. Admirably, not a fun appointment in nature. However she did a few things that made it so much better. 1) listened to my concerns about pain and anxiety management for the procedure having went through others and it being rather traumatic. I never felt like my pain or anxiety was dismissed2) she explained everything exceptionally and made me aware of the steps that would happen. Further, she talked me through each step as it happened and frequently checked In. 3) she was very kind when I asked to have my boyfriend come to hold my hand and made sure I had the support I needed. I have had other providers insist it was not going to be that painful and support was not necessary but never felt weird or bad for requesting to have a support person. She even made sure to check in and make sure he was not going to pass out too, haha. I cannot say enough good things about her and my expirience. I will be going to her for other appointments in the future and cannot express how grateful I am for her and how well the procedure went. While it Inevitably was going to hurt, this was as pain free as possible and went so smoothly. A very big thank you to Dr gerhard and her whole team!!
