I've been seeing Dr. Goodwin since he started at Providence. He always takes the time to answer any questions or concerns that I may have. He's a very caring doctor.

Dr. Goodwin was an exception to the care I have been accustomed to receiving: the appointment was only a few days wait rather than the usual weeks or months; he gave me a hands on check up, listened attentively and respectfully. I have not seen my PCP for over 2 years, but have been seen by a PA.

Dr. Goodwin displays the right balance of recommending what he thinks is important but being willing to hear my point of view. I feel we have a respectful relationship with open communication in which both of us feel able to speak our minds. Dr. Goodwin was excellent. It was difficult to get an appt with my own doctor. Instead I was helped by several other medical professionals during the last three months. All responded well but the process to see someone was difficult. I used MyChart, a virtual visit, a visit to immediate care, a short in person visit with a different doctor, and finally an in person visit with Dr Goodwin who went above and beyond to help me. He is an excellent listener.

Always a very friendly office overall. Dr Goodwin does not ever make you feel rushed or unimportant. He is very down to earth and his assistants are always nice, calm and efficient.

Dr. Goodwin meets me where I am at medically and gently encourages healthy choices.

I haven't seen Dr. Goodwin in a few years, due to working closely with a OBGYN, r/t miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy, then an IVF Clinic, then pregnancy. I am back to regularly scheduling visits with my PCP. I really enjoyed my visit with Dr. Goodwin, I had specific labs that I wanted to check in on and they were ordered right away. Dr. Goodwin reviewed the labs with me and we came up with a plan to follow up on certain labs that needed a bit of attention. I also find Dr. Goodwin's bedside manner lovely. I let him know this as well, but during my first miscarriage Dr. Goodwin and his team were the only healthcare professionals (including my Providence OBGYN at the time), who took the time to be kind, and show empathy to me. This was during covid and I know how busy and stressed everyone was. I'll never forget how compassionately his team treated me during this time and will always be grateful.

Dr Michael Goodwin and his team deliver excellent patient care . I only hope the team is reimbursed at the highest pay grade in the Portland area. Providence needs to reward its caregivers . I'm seeing so much negative press from providence not setting its contracts this past few years .

I have been with this doctor from 2014 for me I can't find some one better my doctor to me is part of my life.

Seen Dr. Goodwin for over 10 yrs. There is a reason for that. He is a good Dr. Caring and knowledgeable. He's staff is great. When I change health care providers. I am always concerned thatvi have to change. Dr's. I will continue to see Dr. Goodwin as long as I can.

I switched to Dr. Goodwin as I was not pleased with my previous PCP. He is simply the most thorough, empathetic doctor I have had and I am old and have lived in many places around the world. I am sorry I cannot remember the name of the nurse or PA that took my vitals prior to Dr. Goodwin but she was also amazing and asked extra questions and sincerely cared about me. I feel very fortunate to have found them.
