Laura Lopez, MD

Dr. Lopez emigrated to the United States at 18 years old from León, Guanajuato, Mexico. She pursued interests in science at Washington State University and earned multiple degrees with a focus on molecular biology. She went on to attend medical school at Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine. She is passionate about family medicine, particularly in underserved settings and is deeply committed to addressing life circumstances that affect the personal health of her patients. Her clinical interests include addiction medicine, genetics, and chronic disease management. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking, spending time in nature, doing yoga, traveling, reading, and being with her family. She believes in building relationships with patients rooted in compassion, respect, and an understanding of each person’s life story.
