About Uma Gonchigar
Dr. Gonchigar was born in Boston and raised in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. She graduated from Barnard College in New York City with a degree in English Literature and a concentration in American Literature. She later completed her premedical coursework at the Jefferson College of Life Sciences in Philadelphia before attending medical school at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Drawn to the broad scope and continuity of care that Family Medicine offers, Dr. Gonchigar is passionate about caring for patients across all stages of life. She especially values the relationships she builds with patients and considers patient interaction the most rewarding aspect of her work. Dr. Gonchigar is excited to begin this new chapter in the Pacific Northwest and looks forward to serving her community while developing her skills as a family physician. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking and decorating.
