Kyle W. Hocquard, MD

Nothing but good things to say about Dr. Hocquard and his care team. They have been extremely proactive and helpful in helping me manage my health, and they are extremely courteous and responsive to questions. Dr. Hocquard, in particular, is excellent at giving time and listening to my concerns during our visits, and I never feel rushed through an appointment. I wish there were more appointments available to the date when I am looking to schedule those appointments, but in general Dr. Hocquard's availability has not been an issue.

Dr. Hocquard is a wonderful doctor. He always answers all my questions and spends enough time to address any concerns I have. He is professional and personable. I always feel I can ask him any questions about my health, and he spends time answering all of them. I never feel like he is rushed or isn't fully present during my appointments. I have total trust in Dr. Hocquard and know he has my best interest in mind when I see him.

I'd especially like to call out Dr. Hocquard's championing of my care. After he referred me to a specialist within Swedish they subsequently denied me but Dr. Hocquard immediately appealed the decision due to my high priority diagnosis, upon which the specialist office reversed their decision and accepted me as a referral. Being new not just to Swedish but to Seattle in general I was anxious about where and how to find care in other health systems, which ones would be good, etc, and I was very relieved to hear he was fighting for me to get treated.

Doctor Hocquard is the best, he listens carefully and takes his time generously to explain anything which is necessary for my health condition, I admire his work and support and respect him as an honorable and skilled physician.

Excellent and attentive physician

He didn't ask about the torn ligaments in my shoulders. He usually short with his visit. My memory is not what it was and I live with the shoulder and back pain constantly so I forgot to bring it up.

South Lake Union Primary has become an incredible asset to the neighborhood and beyond. The level of care in addition to their compassion and professionalism is superb. Dr. Hocquard is certainly instrumental in setting these high standards. (P.S. Thank you for staffing the blood draw lab again)

Dr Hocquard is wonderful. He is using a new recording system. It really allows him to focus and spend a bit more time with me. I hope that it helps him with all of his patients. I was in for a pre-surgery appointment and another issue and we took care of both.

This was an appointment to establish care. I was pleased with the staff, my new doctor, and the pristine facility.

I saw my doctor for the first time after moving from Las Vegas. My first visit pushed me to refer my husband to Dr Hocquard too.... Although he was scheduled to see another doc but I insisted on scheduling him with my doctor. Patience is a true virtue and that's what Dr. H gave me. He listened to my version and experiences of my co-morbidities and I felt after leaving his office that I will be in good care from then on. I was not rushed at all and in fact we immediately scheduled a 2nd visit after bloodwork results.

Establishing new Dr and very happy with my first visist

Dr.Hocquard had my records and was able to refer to them appropriately .AND he asked me about the medication I was taking and my satisfaction with it and questions about it. This is the FIRST time a doctor has asked me this very important question !

I have somewhat complicated diagnoses (like a rare disease and genetic blood mutation) and Dr Hocquard is attentive and cares. An excellent physician and authentic, caring person.
