I had medical issues that I was unaware of until I got this doctor. She has been great in treating my problems and working to get me my best self healthwise.

This was my initial visit, since I changed insurance & needed to establish a new primary care provider. Thankfully, she was moved to an even closer location, making it much more convenient.

After waiting 18 months for a new primary care provider after mine retired, I am grateful that Dr. Mara is mine/ours. Thank you.

Excellent visit

Dr. Hazeltine kinda blew me away, in the best way. This was my first appointment to establish but had some urgent issues arise just before this appointment. I didn't have to justify myself, she just believed me and got me back on the appropriate treatments for my bronchitis and bronciolitis. I'm very sick. She saw that, and made me feel seen, heard and cared for. She confirmed my level of illness and said she wanted to see me weekly for a bit, which made me feel so comfortable given what I'm dealing with. Since we are still getting to know each other, I appreciate her approach to my care. Had I stayed with my previous, it literally could have been fatal, which she also confirmed. I read my notes after and she was pretty much spot on. I was floored. She's my 5th pcp in less than 3 years. They've all just stopped treating me or not treated me at all, which directly led to my current, critical lung situation. Dr. H gets it and said she's going to do everything in her power to get me back on my feet. She got me an urgent pulmonology referral. We will likely have to postpone my upcoming surgery because my lungs aren't strong enough and healed enough to go under anesthesia yet. I'm excited to see how she does with my chronic Illness management, but so far she nailed my acute needs. I was having an active anaphylactic reaction to a bee sting and she talked me about the seriousness and suggested I reach out to my allergist for an epi pen, which he gave me. She's respectful of specialty lines and is firmly in her role of primary care. Her style is what I've been looking for. No nonsense, compassionate care, and honestly cares about her patients getting better. It took me 3 months before I could see her which was really frustrating, but now that I'm in it's like I'm a VIP. I appreciate that. And EVERYONE, every single person in that office was absolutely wonderful. The front staff were very sweet, patient and compassionate. They lowered screens to help me as I came in sitting in my rollator, I was so sick. I was so touched. When I left, they were so sweet and asked how it went and how I was feeling about my new provider. They genuinely wanted to know. I couldn't believe it. They all promote wellness , health and self care. Encouraged me to treat myself to "whatever a treat is to me". What a thoughtful thing to say. I'm very pleased. The MA who helped get all of my nearly 50 meds entered and checked me in was also wonderful and very sweet. She helped me feel comfortable joining the team for pcp, and shared Dr. H has a team of 4 that all work together and sit by each other to provide the best care possible. That was HUGE to me. I've got a lot of medical trauma and this is one of the areas.it means I'll get my needs met and I won't be left hanging, which has happened repeatedly. I drive from Pullman to see you and it's totally with it. Thank you for doing doctoring right. When I first came into this office, I saw multiple other disabled folks with their mobility aids. That helped me to feel comfortable too, they're just like me. I'm hopeful this is the start of a long doctor-patient relationship. Thank you!!

Dr. Hazeltine always talks about medications that may be harmful if continued use and seeks a better solution to them. I appreciate that.

My care provider is exceptional. She listens to what I have to say and answers questions as needed. And I know that she cares because the answer. She gives me shows that she was listening to everything that I said. She's awesome, she's also very compassionate, and caring and is very quick to get me to another doctor if I need a specialty doctor right away! She treats me like she really cares and not just like I am a name and number!I would definitely recommend her for a primary care provider for any of my friends or family!

This was my first meeting after previous doctor disappeared, so it took many months to get my forst appointment with a new doctor. But it was worth the wait for Dr Hazeltine. She is very empathetic and caring, and won my trust immediately. So glad she is my new primary care doctor.

Dr Hazeltine's office took the initiative to call me and schedule an appointment when they were informed of concerns with my mammogram. I was very impressed with the promptness of their call and their sincere concern for getting me scheduled.

Listened respectfully to my needs and concerns about any future medication needs. Ordered screenings for things that concern me and genuinely paid attention to not ordering tests that I don't want. Specifically won me over when she asked whether I would change my eating habits as a result of cholesterol testing and when I said no, responded that there is no need for the test at this time.
