Saw Dr Patching to establish care, as previous provider had left. She was able to pick up where other provider left off, providing me with information and options the other provider didn't. Am looking forward to continuing with Dr Patching, as she understands that ultimately my health care choices rest with me, and she appears to be willing to work as a team with me in that regard. Friendly, knowledgeable, listens well and reflects back.

My only complaint is that it takes quite a while to get in for an appointment unless it is super urgent. Even then, I am generally referred to express care or urgent care. Dr. Patching is fantastic, so I understand why she is busy, but there are definitely times when I would like to be seen more quickly. I'm getting older, so maybe things have changed in how clinics run, but it used to be that providers had a certain number of appointment times reserved for same-or-next-day patients when someone had an acute illness or condition. That no longer seems to be the case, maybe because too many patients are being shoehorned into too few provider schedules.
