About Daniel M. Kim
Dr. Daniel Kim is a gastroenterologist practicing in Mission Viejo, California. He completed his undergraduate degree at Boston College and subsequently attended medical school at Creighton University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his internal medicine residency, chief residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of California, Irvine. He has multiple abstracts and publications, many of which focus on optimizing measures for the prevention of colorectal cancer. Dr. Kim's philosophy of care is to establish a partnership with patients in order to understand their symptoms and make personalized diagnostic and treatments plans. He believes in good communication and educating patients to understand their disease processes. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kim enjoys traveling, playing sports and spending time with his wife, daughter and dog.

Dr. Daniel Kim is an excellent doctor. I saw him a year ago for a colonoscopy and I saw him on [Date] for a continuing stomach acid concern. He explained everything very well to me, and a recommended strategy for handling the problem. He advised on medication and the possible option of doing an endoscopy when I have my next colonoscopy. He listened to my concerns, did not rush me, and provided good responses. He checked to see if I needed prescription refills. I felt very good when I left my appointment.
