She provided me with information regarding the medications I had been taking and changed my prescription for future use.

I saw this provider because I could not get a timely appointment with the doctor. The appt was to go over the results of an endoscopy and colonoscopy. I felt the practitioner provider was acceptable because I was under the impression that there was nothing terribly concerning about the results. I generally liked the provider, so I do not want this feedback to be viewed as harsh. I would note that her speaking language was hard to understand at times. Perhaps if she slowed down a bit it would be easier with her accent. The big concern was that she apparently did not review my medical history adequately. I asked some questions about my endoscopy to learn whether my condition improved, worsened or was the same as my last endoscopy. I did ask her at my appointment rather pointedly about whether there was any indication of Barrett's esophogus, as this was a concern. She said no. The doctor did not find that. And on that basis recommended an 'as needed' medicine. She later called and left a voice message, saying she again reviewed my medical history and saw that there was Barrett's esophogus noted in a previous endoscopy 2+ years earlier, and then recommended a different medicine protocol. I could not tell if that meant that there WAS some Barrett's esophogus involved in the recent procedure. Of course, this contradicted the information in the appointment to some extent, and had I heard It at the the appointment I would have asked the clarifying question referenced above (i.e., whether my condition improved, worsened or was the same as my last endoscopy). However, as it was a message, I was not able to do so. So good that she checked the records. Not good that I am not clear on this important issue.

This was my initial consultation with Dr. Lien. My medical records and history (brought by me) took time to unravel. Dr. Lien was respectful and patient, taking all the considerable time needed to understand my needs and recommend future practices. She offered to contact my former doctor for more complete records.

I was well attended under difficult circumstances. I appreciated the prompt responses to my anxiety and concern for my well-being. I'm very grateful.

Dr. Ordered tests that she did not discuss with me, I am not comfortable with the nuclear test she ordered and I will get a second opinion. I am not taking any prescriptions for my heart. She didn't explain why she ordered this test and why I needed it
