Dr. Shoemaker is an excellent provider who takes the time to get to know his patients and make them feel seen. He is willing to dig deep and ask questions that indicate he appreciates people as whole persons and not just the compartmentalized organs of his specialty. Would absolutely recommend him to others.

I was glad to be able to schedule an appt quickly, even if it wasn't w/ my previous provider.

I have been seeing Dane Shoemaker for several years to first understand my condition and then mange the condition. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, and eager to research and share information with me. My experience w/him consistently ranks 100%.

It took 5 months to get an appointment but the I was very happy with the information I received, the interest in my health, and the follow up plan. Very satisfied with my visit.

Dane Shoemaker is the most thorough and helpful provider of any I have seen - which are too many to count. His insights on personalizing medications is especially appreciated. It is always a good day when I visit him because I know that I will learn something , or at least have a watchful eye on my Crohn's Colitis. Dane has followed up more than any other provider. He has given me referrals and always listens. I can tell he is giving all he can to find resolution to symptoms, he is very much appreciated - can't say enough about how much.

Dane Shoemaker is the most caring provider! He listens so intently and explains things in a way that is very understandable! My only suggestion would be to have a cancelation list and only call the person next on the list in the order received rather than to throw an opening out to all on the list. At 84, and I am sure it is true for most of us older ones, we are not as quick and tech capable as the younger ones, but might need the sooner appointment more. My experience with Dane Shoemaker could not have been better, however.

Dr. Shoemaker is an amazing doctor. This is another gem within the Providence network and I wish more doctors were like him. He understood real life complexities, didn't lecture, and is actively monitoring and helping me to get better. It is nice having a doctor face to face that doesn't treat you like a number, actually spends time understanding you and your health, and genuinely provides guidance that has an effect on my remaining healthy years.

I had to cancel this appointment 6 months ago - it took another 6 months to get this recent appointment! That's much too long for someone with ongoing health issues. Lucky for me, this appointment happened just as I needed help for a new issue! Dane Shoemaker is the wisest and kindest health provider I have! Highly knowledgeable, up to date on current info, and he shares this info well, making it easy to understand.

I was listened to closely. I was treated like I was important including every note about my condition as I was explaining. My feelings were taken into account. The NP was a wonderful caregiver!

Getting the appt was easy, and appts were readily available. The front staff and nurse were very informative, concerned, and helpful. Dr, Schumaker was incredible, understanding, patient, and communicated in terms I could relate to.the only issue I had was waiting an hour past my appt time to see him. Nobody updated me in that time. But the level of service was worth waiting for.

Dane Shoemaker is an excellent practitioner. He is prepared, knowledgeable, understanding, and is a good partner for someone like me who thinks about my own role in my health and health care.

Dane shoemaker is awesome and so is the staff. Unfortunately, there has been some issues with renewing medication but I think that might be the Providence system.

I was very satisfied with my appointment. I was able to go over details from a previous medical procedure that I had questions about.

NP Shoemaker was exceptional, he had a background in my specialty , acupuncture and was knowledgeable and personable in consideration of that. He was perceptive, sensitive, clinically focused and made me feel "taken in" as well\had been the norm before medical visits turned into more research or visits that were marked by a lack of care.

All my concerns were answered. I felt very comfortable.
