About Monina F. Pascua
Dr. Pascua earned her M.D. from Drexel University College of Medicine, her PharmD from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, completed an M.S. in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A from OHSU. Dr. Pascua completed her internship, residency, and fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She joined Gastroenterology Specialists of Oregon (now The Oregon Clinic Gastroenterology – South) in August 2009. During her residency and fellowship, she performed clinical research in pharmacoepidemiology, inflammatory bowel disorders, and microscopic colitis. She has been an active member within the American Gastroenterological Association serving as Chair of the Women’s Leadership Committee and is an advocate for female gastroenterology leaders. She regularly mentors pre-medical and medical students. Dr. Pascua has special interests in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease and women’s health issues, particularly pelvic floor disorders.

Dr. Pascua has a passion for serving in medical missions around the world, especially in the Philippines, and spending free time with her family. She is also involved in her church and enjoys reading and running. Within The Oregon Clinic, she also serves as Chair of the Quality Committee advancing patient safety, quality, and value-based care.
